The workshop will explore the current issues in relation to hate speech and human rights. Also, develop the competencies of youth and human rights activists to combat hate speech. Further, with special regard to support Mediterranean youth work and Euro-Arab youth cooperation.

Furthermore, The Mediterranean University on Youth and Global Citizenship is a framework event. Further, where different youth-led and youth-oriented organizations have the possibility to run their own activities. Within a multilateral cooperation context, which encourages networking, peer education, design of common advocacy strategies and sharing of knowledge and opportunities. Further, As of 2013, the MedUni represents an opportunity to explore the concept of global education and global citizenship, to encourage dialogue between decision-makers and young people, to advocate for youth participation and to empower young people towards their rights and duties.
The training workshop will bring together 20 youth leaders and activists involved in activities organised by the Youth Department around the topic of Youth-Peace- Dialogue, more specifically in the No Hate Speech Movement campaigns in Tunisia, Morocco and other countries with an ongoing campaign.
