UNESCO-APCEIU-MGIEP 11th Youth Leadership Workshop on GCED 2025

The UNESCO Asia-Pacific Centre of Education for International Understanding (APCEIU) and the UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development (MGIEP), in collaboration with the GCED Youth Network, invite dedicated youth leaders to apply for the 11th Youth Leadership Workshop on GCED. This workshop offers a unique opportunity for young changemakers to engage in Global Citizenship Education (GCED), fostering skills in peacebuilding, sustainability, and international understanding. Participants will connect with like-minded individuals, gain valuable insights, and contribute to global change. This workshop aims to empower young leaders by integrating Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) into Global Citizenship Education (GCED), equipping them with essential skills to promote peace, resilience, and sustainability in their communities. Successful participants who complete the workshop will be eligible to apply for an exclusive mentorship programme to further develop their initiatives.

Eligibility for 11th Youth Leadership

• Open to youth leaders from ODA recipient countries, actively engaged in GCED. Applicants ONLY from Official Development Assistance (ODA) recipient countries are eligible to apply.
• English proficiency is required as the workshop will be conducted in English.
