The MIT Africa Innovate Pitch Competition application is now live!
This competition will be held during the Africa Innovate Conference on April 9th, 2022. The competition is seeking early-stage ventures that are focused on Africa.
The annual Africa Innovate Conference is a unique and intimate forum that brings together leading entrepreneurs and change-agents from across the African continent. The conference attracts over 400 business leaders, entrepreneurs, influencers, students, professors, and alumni, all with strong interests in Africa. Over the past few years, we have welcomed illustrious speakers such as her Excellency President Ameenah Gurib-Fakim of Mauritius; Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, ex-Minister of Finance of Nigeria; Mostafa Terrab, CEO of OCP; Sara Menker, Founder and CEO of Gro Intelligence; and Ismail Ahmed, Founder and CEO of WorldRemit.
The Startup Competition 2021-2022 is the merger between MIT Enterprise Arab Startup Competition and MIT Enterprise Saudi Startup competition. The competition aims to enable entrepreneurs and promote an ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship in Saudi Arabia and the Arab world. The competition pits entrepreneurs in three different tracks: Ideas, Startups, and Social Entrepreneurship. This year’s edition launches with the slogan “Empowering Today. Transforming Tomorrow” through a 7 month thrilling journey, filled with exciting activities like: top-tier training, Mentorship, Media exposure, and excellent networking opportunities, not to mention, the winning teams benefit from equity free-fund cash prizes.
