Call for Mentors: TBLF Leadership and Community Development (LCD) Mentoring Programme 2025

The Leadership and Community Development (LCD) Mentoring Programme is a one-year programme which seeks to engage credible mentors who have track records of their outstanding passion for social and character development and also wish to nurture leadership potentials in secondary school students within Cross River and Akwa Ibom States, Nigeria.

The programme’s mentors are young professionals who guide teenagers through a structured curriculum and interactive learning activities, helping them find meaningful answers to life’s questions, address personal challenges, and develop solutions for community issues. As key drivers of the Foundation’s mission to nurture transformational leaders, mentors foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and leadership skills, empowering young people to take ownership of their lives and drive positive change in their communities. Through their guidance, teenagers build resilience, self-awareness, and a strong sense of responsibility, equipping them to navigate life’s complexities and make informed decisions. By instilling these values, the programme serves as a catalyst for raising a generation of empowered individuals committed to creating a lasting social impact.

Eligibility for Mentoring Programme

• Youth within the age of 22 – 40 years.
• Under-graduate, OND, HND, B.sc, M.Sc, PhD, 2024 Batch A Corps Members Serving within these LGAs.
• Must be resident within the targeted Local Government Areas in Cross River and Akwa Ibom States, Nigeria.
• Passionate about driving impact among adolescents in schools/communities.
• Possess great leadership, mentoring and facilitation skills to train students in public secondary schools using the programme curriculum.
