Applications are now open for the Centre for Human Rights Multiculturalism and Migration, CHRM2, Fellowship Program 2020. The Centre for Human Rights, Multiculturalism, and Migration (CHRM2) is a research center established in 2016 with the ultimate aim to develop multidisciplinary studies at the University of Jember. The establishment of CHRM2 is part of the University of Jember’s strategic Centres within Southeast Asia to promote research and collaboration in the specialized areas of human rights with cognate disciplines.

Our vision is to boost the strength of the University of Jember to become a leading, global university centered in Southeast Asia. Through rigorous research and collaboration, our center attempts to transform the way we think of acquiring knowledge in this rapidly globalizing world; a knowledge that meets the ideals of justice and the standards of human rights. In order to succeed in this vision and our missions, we conduct an annual international conference by inviting world-renowned professors, practitioners, and policymakers. In addition, we also publish scholarly articles in the Journal of Southeast Asian Human Rights (JSEAHR).
