A part-time position is available within the e-Learning Department through the Ocean County College Internship Program as a part of the College’s commitment to assisting Graduate students interested in attaining hand’s on work experience before graduating from College. Graduate Interns may be placed in positions within various departments such as but not limited to: accounting, facilities, human resources, information technology, marketing, e-learning, library, etc. based on available openings.
Reimbursement for the E-Learning Graduate Internship
The E-Learning Graduate Internship program at Ocean County College guarantees the reimbursement at a rate of $18.00 per hour.
What will E-Learning Graduate Intern do at Ocean County College?
- Reviews, edits and updates course content; provides assistance with the development and design of new courses.
- Moreover, conducts research and test on learning technologies; helps with data collection and analysis; prepares reports and/or surveys
- Further, acquires knowledge and training through the execution of assigned tasks, research, data analysis, projects and/or the implementation of new processes and/or programs.
- Provides assistance with diagnoses and resolution of problems encountered by end users of the College’s Learning Management System
- Attends and successfully completes specialized continuing education as appropriate for the position
- Maintains strong grade performance in the graduate program as well as sustains work performance at the College that is considered above satisfactory
- Related duties, projects, as well as initiatives as assigned
Qualifications for an E-Learning Graduate Internship at Ocean County College
- Bachelor’s Degree and G.P.A. of 3.0 in major
- Further, enrollment and attendance in a Graduate program at the time of application, preferably in Instructional Design & Technology, Education Technology, Curriculum Design or closely related field
- Moreover, one year of experience in a team-oriented college setting (as a student worker or part-time employee)
- Also, demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite; may also require some knowledge of department software or database depending on assignment
