FHI 360 DREAMS (Determined, Resilient, Empowered, AIDS-free, Mentored, and Safe women) Bulawayo Office invites applicants to apply for Program Intern 2020 at FHI 360. The DREAMS program in Zimbabwe focuses on reducing new HIV infections amongst adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) by 40% by September 2021.

Role of FHI 360 Program Intern 2020

The Program Intern will be responsible for the provision of programmatic and administrative support to the Program team for effective program implementation.The incumbent will work under the supervision of Provincial Coordinator. In particular, the intern will be doing the following tasks

  • Support the Program team with pre-planning, organization and management of trainings/workshops.
  • Similarly, support team with travel arrangement for Program team, including requisition generation.
  • Provide administrative support to the Program team.
  • Manage and schedule appointments and meetings as relevant.
  • Schedule routine program team meeting as well as maintain minutes and ensure follow up on action items arising from minutes.
  • Assist with managing all printing and photocopying assignments, development and reproduction of documents for the program department.
  • Also, assist with filing of program documentation Deliver out of school HIV and GBV prevention sessions.
  • Furthermore, performs any other duties as assigned.

Requirements 

Candidates must have the following qualifications in order to be eligible for the position

  • A Level Certificate.
  • Former DREAMS beneficiary as well as experience in working with DREAMS beneficiaries
  • Demonstrated success in multicultural environments.
  • Ability to learn and work in a team. In addition to that, excellent written, oral, interpersonal and organization skills.
