Eligibility Criteria for Google PhD Student Researcher Program
- The student researcher program is open to PhD Students.
- They must be currently enrolled in a PhD program in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Linguistics, Statistics, Biostatistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, Natural Sciences, or a related technical discipline.
- Should have experience in at least one specialized area of computer science, such as Human Computer Interactions, Natural Language Understanding, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Algorithmic Foundations of Optimization, Quantum Information Science, Data Science, Software Engineering or similar areas.
- Moreover, as part of the preferred qualifications, students must be enrolled in a full-time degree and plan to return to their studies after completing the internship.
- Candidates attending a degree program in the United States will be preferred for the Google PhD Student Researcher Program.
- Similarly, they should have previous research experience through internships, full-time roles, or research labs.
- Students should have experience contributing to academic research communities, including publishing in recognized conferences or journals.
- They should also have proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C/C++, etc.
