Human Resources Internship at International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). The current IFRC Onboarding program requires redesign and redevelopment to ensure relevance to needs, a strong introduction to IFRC and the Movement, as applicable, as well as alignment with Strategy 2030. It needs to strike a balance between providing the appropriate information and resources to new staff, including information to help adjust to a new professional setting and new living conditions.
The Office of the Secretary-General (OSG) requested the Human Resources Management Department (HRMD) to revise the current program to capture the above criteria.
As a starting point, IFRC will map, document, and revise existing onboarding approaches, needs, and resources. This Internship will be dedicated to the aforementioned activities. The Internship will consist in:

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) works worldwide to provide humanitarian assistance to people affected by conflict and armed violence. It takes action in response to emergencies and at the same time promote respect for international humanitarian law. We are an independent and neutral organization, and our mandate stems essentially from the Geneva Conventions of 1949. In addition to that, it works closely with National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and with their International Federation in order to ensure a concerted, rational and rapid humanitarian response to the needs of the victims of armed conflict or any other situation of internal violence. ICRC also directs and coordinates the international activities conducted in these situations.
