The Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia ESWA of the United Nations invites application for the Information Systems and Communication Technology ICT Internship. The duration of an ESCWA internship is normally two months on a full-time basis. This may be exceptionally extended for a maximum period of six months. It is awarded on the recommendation of the Director of the respective Division. However, Interns are not paid and are responsible for all expenses related to the internship.
Responsibilities of the internship position encompass all aspects of the work of the ICT Policies Section, including Internet Governance; Cyberspace Legislations; Cybersecurity and Trust; Digital Technologies for Sustainable Development; Digital Economy; Fintech and Cryptocurrency; International Cooperation in the field of information society; other fields related to Digital technology innovations; ICT policy and ICT for development. Applicants may apply for the United Nations internship by submitting the online application. Further, the applicants will require a recent CV and cover letter to apply for the internship. Also, the interns may submit a relevant portfolio and documentation.
Interns, however, should note that they may submit only one PDF file via the online application portal. Hence, the applicants must merge all documents into one PDF file before uploading.
