The International Business Machine, commonly as IBM, invites creative and hardworking designing students to undertake Information Designer Internship in the IBM Office at Central Singapore.

Responsibilities 

The primary responsibility of an intern is to carry out tasks like graphics and multimedia designing. Moreover, the position should have innovation and potential to apply the highest level of creativity, communications, and information/graphic design skill to assist deal teams to produce clear visual and impactful proposals.

Basically, the intern will serve as the key graphics designer on executive summaries and also sees as overall “graphic artist”, working on both a visual and a narrative level, breaking content into visually accessible chunks to aid readability and consistency. In addition to that, s/he will work with Sales Reps, Technical Subject Matter Experts and Proposal Writers to build innovative proposal deliverables by designing graphical elements that summarize and add to the solution descriptions in areas of Cloud, Security, Big Data, Business Analytics, and Mobility.

Requirements 

Candidates must have the following qualifications in order to be eligible for this Information Designer Internship in IBM Singapore

• Associate or University education, or design, illustration, multi-media work experience. In addition to that, creative/Multi-Media/Advertising/Journalism/Marketing/Media studies or profession related activities.
• High proficiency in industry-standard graphic software tools including Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Muse, WordPress, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, etc.
• Ability to work well independently as well as in a team-based environment with local, global, and remote team members; the ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality.
• Proficient in design and documentation development tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft Office, etc.
• Similarly, competent in defining, planning and managing design deliverables.
• Familiarity with IT services business terminology (desired).
• Furthermore, good oral and written communication skills.
