Role

The INTERPOL Global Complex for Innovation (IGCI) is a cutting-edge research and development facility for the identification of crimes and criminals, innovative training, operational support and partnerships. Located in Singapore, the IGCI complements our General Secretariat in Lyon, France, and enhances the Organization’s presence in Asia.

The Support Office assists the Executive Director for Technology and Innovation in the management of the Executive Directorate, which comprises three Directorates: Innovation Centre, Capacity Building and Training and Information Systems and Technology.

Principal Areas of Internship

Enterprise Architecture functions of Interpol with the following sub-activities

• Definition of the Enterprise Architecture model and lifecycle.
• Collection of information needed for the Enterprise Architecture solution.
• Documentation relating to EAF
• IT Strategy
• Coordination mechanisms for major Digital Transformation programmes of INTERPOL, like ICORE, I-Corporate and INSIGHT implementation.
• Carrying out any other duty assigned by the supervisor

Eligibility

Candidates on this IT Internship at INTERPOL in France will have the following qualifications

• Be a national of one of INTERPOL’s 194 member countries.
• Have attained the legal age of majority in their country of nationality.
• Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems/Computer Engineering.
• No work experience required. Internship experience in an office setting or an international organization will be considered an asset.
• Professional fluency in English is required.
• Knowledge of French, Spanish and Arabic will be a strong advantage.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and Teamwork.
