Application calls for MBA candidate to participate in Project Manager Internship 2020 in Community Operations at Office in Facebook Dublin. The intern will serve from 22nd June – 11th September 2020 on the Dublin Office of Facebook. Successful candidates for this role have strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, can navigate ambiguity and are always looking for strategic opportunities to improve how systems and processes work.

Summary 

The intern will help the Dublin Office to protect the integrity of Facebook by analyzing patterns of activity and investigating trends to help enforce Facebook policies, as well as organizing cross-functional teams to take action. The position will be working alongside Product Managers, UX Researchers, Data Scientists, and Engineers to proactively identify and independently lead strategic projects geared towards reducing the spread of low-quality content, including misinformation, sensationalism, engagement bait and clickbait among others.

Responsibilities 

The role will engage in the following duties

• Analyze data to identify user trends and malicious behavior.
• Deeply understand the architecture and integration points of Facebook’s community support products.
• Identify opportunities for operational efficiency in the support of billions of Facebook users.
• Analyze complex support flows and provide recommendations for process, policy and product improvements.
• Support global and cross-functional projects to optimize a best in class user experience.
• Use your problem-solving skills to resolve large and complex business problems.
• Address sensitive content issues, including but not limited to graphic images, videos and writings, offensive or derogatory language, and other objectionable material.

Requirements 

The ideal candidate for MBA Internship 2020 at Ireland Facebook will have

• A Bachelors’s degree and currently in the process of obtaining, an MBA degree.
• Experience supporting projects end to end across various stakeholders and functions. Also, experience initiating and driving projects to completion with minimal guidance.
• Demonstrated ability to use sound judgment and exhibit grace under pressure.
• Data-driven with strong quantitative and analytical ability.
• Experience in working with SQL preferred. Similarly, knowledge of Facebook products and passionate about user experience is desirable.
