UNICEF Morocco calls an application for an internship program in Adolescent Development & Participation. As part of its mandate in Morocco, UNICEF supports national partners, in the efforts made to improve the living conditions of children and the realization of their rights, and more particularly better integration of adolescents and young people in socio-economic fields. This internship aims to:

• Support the planning and design processes for ongoing actions.
• Support the team in place in boosting the network of young people being set up.

Main Tasks 

Based on existing documents and under the supervision of the Adolescent Development and Participation Program Officer, the intern will be required to perform the following tasks:

• Support the program manager in finalizing the current mapping (Youth actions and organizations in various fields).
• Take part in meetings to design and plan future activities.
• Participate in the organization of virtual events for the summer season.
• Maintain contact with the network of young people being set up.
• Support the translation of tools and other documents (French – Arabic; English an asset).
• Provide ad hoc support to other operations led by the UNICEF Youth program in cooperation with its partners.

Eligibilities 

In order to be eligible for this UNICEF Internship Program in Morocco, candidates must be

• Currently registered in bachelor’s or master’s, or be recently graduated.
• Fluent in written and spoken French and Arabic. English an asset.
• Proficient in standard office automation IT tools (Word, Excel, and Ppt).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong adaptability and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in project management (internships, student projects, etc.) is a great asset.

The internship will be done entirely at a distance. No physical presence in the UNICEF office in Rabat is necessary.
