USA Rugby Finance Intern Summer Program 2019 during May through August.

Background Information

Founded in 1975, USA Rugby is the national governing body for the sport of rugby in America, and a Full Sport Member of the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) and World Rugby. Having its headquarter in Lafayette, Colorado, USA Rugby is charged with developing the game on all levels and has over 115,000 active members. Furthermore, it oversees four national teams, multiple collegiate and high school All-American sides, and an emerging Olympic development pathway for elite athletes.

The primary focus of this internship is project based. USA Rugby is looking for an individual to work on projects that will assist with the financial operations of the organization. The intern may also assist with data entry, processing accounts payable and receivable, coding expenses, working within financial reports and any other tasks that contribute to the efficiencies of the Finance department.

Essential Functions

• Research, report on, and implement systems to help with workflow efficiencies
• Assist with review of expense reports for required receipts, approval, and coding.
• Also, assist with coding and booking of invoices, credit cards and other payables
• Assist with creation of new vendors and customer profiles
• In addition, filing and assisting with maintenance of the current filing system
• Assist with monthly account statement reconciliations
• Similarly, assist with direct billing applications, state tax exemption certificates and credit applications
• Assist departments and vendors with coding questions and payment status requests.
