Conference Overview

GSMUN will be centred exclusively around the broader theme of sustainability and being green. Committees will be responsible for creating solutions to the biggest climate challenges.

It aims to provide a focused experience that encourages like-minded young people to think about what the international community can do to help change to a more sustainable world.

There will be a pre-conference networking session and ‘How to MUN’ workshops before the conference.

Now MainMUN 2022 also is a part of the Online Conference 

The later Global Summit will feature 3 Committees of up to 30 people each. Hence, according to the Global Sumit, the MUN conference topics include:

1) United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees – Climate Refugees (UNHCR)
2) African Union – The Great Green Wall
3) United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP)

The conference will run from 10 am-7 pm CET each day.

The conference also includes observer applications from those interested in joining their journalist team. The journalist team will be responsible for writing engaging articles and newsletters on the debates within the Committees, and summarising the inspiring words of our speakers during the opening and closing ceremonies. Journalist and editor applications are also open.

Furthermore, they will also be hosting exciting speakers in the field during the opening and closing ceremony.

Fees

Each delegate should pay 13 euros for participation in this small MUN conference.
