The Everest International Model United Nations (EIMUN), is an international annual conference. Youth Thinkers’ Society and other partner organisations have been organising this since 2014. This has been a platform for youths to discuss global issues and afterwards find a relevant solution.

During the conference, the participants will roleplay as the delegates. The participants will work to achieve a common goal of bringing up innovative ideas and policies addressing global issues while participating through dialogue, debate and discussion. EIMUN will use the format of discussion of UNA/USA Model United Nations.

This year, Nepal welcomes 200 young leaders from Indo-Pacific Region to The Everest International Model United Nations (EIMUN). Youth Thinker’s society (YTS) has organised it in collaboration with US Embassy Nepal.  It will also serve as a cultural exchange program for youths around the world.

Registration fee

The registration fee for the resident of Nepal is NRs. 15,ooo. For late registration, you have to pay an extra 5000.

For international participants, the registration fee is 150 USD and for late registration, you have to pay an extra 50 USD.

COVID-19 Safety

Prior to participating in EIMUN 2022, you should be vaccinated. Hence, EIMUN requests everyone to get vaccinated as well as bring the vaccine card to the conference which will be checked before your entry.

For the Delegates/Dais members of the restricted countries, they should take the RT-PCR test prior to the conference. After the arrival, they have to remain in quarantine for at least a week.
