Interested applicants are now welcome to apply for the Lisbon International Model United Nations (LisboMUN) 2020. The LisboMUN Association- Lisbon Model United Nations – is an association without lucrative purpose that focuses on the promotion of debate on the international agenda. Also,  MUN culture in Portugal, the first in Portugal with this goal. Founded in 2016 by a foreign student in Portugal, the association also has as its objectives. The education of its members on questions of civic nature, effective communication, globalization. Also,  multilateral diplomacy. LisboMUN’s goal is to promote also establish a MUN culture in Portugal. If you do not know how to do MUN, come by our events, and we will teach you, and give you a space to practice among with other MUNers.

Second edition LisboMUN

This second edition of LisboMUN will be focused on Goal 10 of the Sustainable Development Goals. Which is to  “Reduce inequality within also among countries”. Inequality threatens long-term social also economic development, harms poverty reduction and destroys people’s sense of fulfillment and self-worth, which, in turn, can breed crime, disease also environmental degradation. Further, It is a major issue our world is facing today that requires global solutions that cover the three dimensions of sustainable development – economic, social and environmental. From the promotion of better representation of minorities and equal opportunities for women to State policies focused on economic and technological growth, the theme “Reduced Inequalities” will allow delegates to explore the most current issues on the international agenda.
