Applications are open for the Reading University International Model United Nations 2019. ReadiMUN is a three-day academic conference, modeled on the plenary sessions of the United Nations. Further, which provides young people from around the world with near-boundless opportunities. Be that engaging with contemporary world issues, polishing your public-speaking and communication skills, or becoming more confident and articulate global citizens, their conference will doubtlessly have something for you.

Moreover, ReadiMUN 2019 will be the eighth session of the conference and will take place on the 6th to the 8th of December, 2019. Further, The University of Reading is a public university located in Reading, Berkshire, England.  In total, 98% of the University’s research is as ‘internationally ’, 78% as ‘internationally excellent and 27% as ‘world leading’. Further, The institution got the power to grant its own degrees in 1926 by Royal Charter from King George V. Also,  was the only university to receive such a charter between the two world wars. Further, The university is usually categorized as a red brick university, reflecting its original foundation in the 19th century. Also,  It has four major campuses both in the United Kingdom and internationally.

Mission

ReadiMUN has been running for eight consecutive years now. It is a young conference and yet, they are proud to have received delegates from as far as Belgium, Russia, and Pakistan.

Further, At ReadiMUN, they aim to create a space where delegates are given challenges, but also where beginners are also, given encouragement to participate and to learn from their peers. Also, Their goal is to provide an open, enjoyable and welcoming environment in which every delegate can develop themselves, no matter their initial level of experience.
