Moreover, at Reading University International Model United Nations (ReadiMUN), we aim to create a space where delegates get challenges.  Their goal is to provide an open, enjoyable and also,  welcoming environment. Further,  in which every delegate can develop themselves, no matter their initial level of experience.

For those who are not familiar with Model United Nations as a concept, it is an academic simulation of the United Nations. Further,  that aims to educate participants about civics, current events, effective communication, globalization, and multilateral diplomacy. Students represent different countries, acting as diplomats negotiating in simulated debates. |As they could be found in different bodies of the United Nations. Participants must research their country’s policies and opinions on the matters. Further,  in order to debate, deliberate, consult, and then develop solutions to world problems. MUN is a formidable platform for delegates to sharpen their skills. Especially,  in public speaking, group communication, research, policy analysis, active listening, negotiation, conflict resolution, note-taking, and also,  technical writing.
