Applications are now open for the Sieg Model United Nations (SiegMUN) 2019. This year’s conference will give you the opportunity to choose one of the four interesting committees. Further,  which we will be simulated in two different languages: the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC), UN Development Programme (UNDP), Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) in English, and the European Council (Europäischer Rat/ER) in German.

Moreover, The acronym MUN stands for Model United Nations, which is a simulation of the United Nations. Also,   their various bodies. SiegMUN started first in 2010 where it began as a small group of students, passionate about international politics. Since then, the conference grew steadily and established itself as one of the biggest conferences in Western Germany, with up to 200 delegates each year. Join us on our journey and take part not only in the conference itself but also the dashing social events around Siegen.

They believe, given the current diplomatic prospects on the global stage, that Model United Nations conferences. Further,  SiegMUN as a beginners’ conference, in particular, can provide us with valuable lessons.  By allowing us to take on a different perspective about crucial topics that concern us all. Model United Nations Siegen and it’s a conference, the SiegMUN are going to be again a meeting point of young leaders from all over the world, dealing with some of the most urgent questions nowadays.
