Apply for Stettin Model United Nations (StetiMUN) 2021. StetiMUN (Stettin Model United Nations) is a three-day long, annually held simulation of a United Nations session organized by students of IB World School No. 3885 and the II Liceum im. Mieszka I in Szczecin. The official language of the Conference is English and the delegates follow some of the Rules of Procedure used in the real UN sessions. The Conference gathers 167 people from all over Europe to engage in one of the most memorable experiences Szczecin has to offer.

Committee

During the Conference, the participants will have a chance to become delegates of nations of their choice and to represent those countries on the international forum in order to create resolutions on the most burning global issues. StetiMUN also offers a wide variety of possible topics as this year there is a total of eight different committees and every one of them is unique in the issues it will be covering:

• Security Council
• Economic and Social Council
• Human Rights Council
• World Health Organization
• Commision on Science and Technology
• Office on Drugs and Crime
• Women Committee
• Disarmament and International Security Committee

Conference

The Conference will not only be about competing in committees and the General Assembly. Stettin Model United Nations (StetiMUN) will feature a get-together event on the eve of the Opening Ceremony, where the delegates will be able to acquaint with each other as well as with the Secretariat and staff members. It will also be a chance for the participants to ask their Chairs and Presidents about the Rules of Procedure and to get familiar with them.

Additional Details

• In order to participate in Szczecin Model United Nations 2021 all delegates are kindly asked to pay a fee of 30 EUR/ 130 PLN.
• The delegates are asked to transfer the money to the bank account: 29 1020 4795 0000 9002 0278 5913. Please include “StetiMUN” your name and surname in the title of the wire transfer.
• Moreover, the fee includes participation in the conference, lunch breaks in between sessions, coffee breaks menu, entrance to the social event.
• The delegates from outside of Szczecin can be provided with housing during StetiMUN in one of the carefully selected hosting families.
