Becoming a Rising Star is an opportunity for women of Asian nationality to further develop their professional and leadership skills. Wedu Global Rising Stars Program believes that any woman who strives to reach her full potential should have the opportunity to do so. Rising Stars come from different backgrounds and thus the leadership development programs are designed to be flexible and online to enable ease of access.

Eligibilities

Rising Stars represent diverse backgrounds and interests. Wedu invites you to apply if:

• You are a woman of Asian nationality
• You demonstrate a deep commitment to working towards social change in your community
  – You are searching for opportunities and resources to help you with your leadership development

Candidates must be

• Applying to attend university at the Bachelor’s level within the next year
• Planning to pursue a Master’s or Ph.D. degree in the future
• Currently enrolled in university at any level
• A young professional focused on professional and career development

Application Steps 

• STEP 1: Online Application – Complete the online application via our website. Mention what you’re passionate about and why you’re a changemaker.
• STEP 2: Leadership Training & Orientation Program – This self-paced, two-month online course guides you to refine your leadership goals and prepare for the journey ahead.
• STEP 3: Community Interviews – After successfully completing LTOP, you will be invited to interviews with the Community to share more about your vision and plans.
