The MEXT scholarships are fully funded government scholarshipsoffered for international students to study in Japan. It is an excellent chance for students to pursue their higher education (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Japan.

Eligibility Criteria :
Here are the criteria applicants must meet in order to apply for the MEXT research scholarships:
- Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree.
- Also, applicants applying for research programs must be under the age of 35.
- This scholarship program is only open to international students.
- In addition, applicants must first enroll themselves in a Japanese master’s or doctoral program.

- Transcripts that have been attested.
- Also, a mark sheet with grades on it.
- Form of application (original and a copy).
- Certificate of good health.
- A letter of recommendation.
- In addition, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree to apply for a master’s scholarship, and for a Ph.D. scholarship, students must have a master’s degree.
