Applications call for African Liberty Writing Fellowship Program
To connect Africans with the ideas that create prosperity through media advocacy, research, discussions, and debates. African Liberty works to educate a new generation of African thought leaders and analysts in adopting a viewpoint that addresses the rights and dignity of every individual regardless of ethnicity, race, gender identity or Africanness. And to build a network of young Africans trained to cultivate the skillsets and passion necessary to usher Africa’s prosperity through the media.
The African Liberty Writing Fellowship program aims to identify promising freedom-minded African writers and provide them with the skills necessary to be successful in op-ed writing. Accepted applicants will complete a 5-week mandatory online course after which all candidates will be evaluated. The top twenty candidates will be recommended for admission as writing fellows.
