The University of Gothenburg (Swedish: Goteborg’s university) is a university in Sweden’s second largest city, Gothenburg.
Also, the University is the third-oldest of the current Swedish universities and with 37,000 students and 6000 staff members it is one of the largest universities in the Nordic countries.

Brief description:

The Axel Adler Scholarship is the University of Gothenburg’s main scholarship program for fee paying students pursuing eligible Master’s programs at the University.

Fields of study:

Any full-time, Masters  programs offers at the University including the Bachelor’s program in Software Engineering

Number of Scholarships:

60 for Master of Arts and Master of Science programs and 4 for Master’s programs within the Fine, Applied and Performing Arts

Target group:

Citizens from outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland

Scholarship value/inclusions:

Scholarships cover the tuition fee of the program you are admitted to. Additionally, it is a tuition fee waiver only; no additional financial support for living expenses or University provides travel grants.

Eligibility

You are eligible to apply for the scholarship if you meet the criteria listed below:

  •  You have to pay tuition fees to Swedish universities
  •  Also, apply to any of our master’s programs, full-time studies or you have applied for the bachelor’s program in software engineering (full-time studies).
  •  Moreover, submit your application by 15 January 2021 through universityadmissions.se.
  • Likewise, you have paid the application fee and documented your eligibility for studies by 1 February 2021.

Application instructions:

To be considered for the scholarships, one must have applied for a Master’s Program via universityadmissions.se by 15 January 2021. Moreover, only applicants with a University of Gothenburg program as their first choice are eligible to apply for a scholarship.

Eligible students will receive an email with application instructions by 8 February 2021. Also, the application will then close on 15 February 2021.
