Apply for the Scholarships at the University of Auckland in New Zealand. The scholarship is for Bachelors degree in the field of Medicine and Surgery.

The Carrick Robertson Prize 2020 commemorates the late Sir Carrick Robertson, who was one of Auckland’s leading surgeons.

Eligibility  for Scholarships at the University of Auckland

  • University of Auckland will give away the Carrick Robertson Prize 2020 to the student enrolled in Part VI of the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) . Also, who achieved the highest aggregate marks in clinical assessments conducted by the Head of the Department of Surgery.
  • Additionally, as a minimum standard, the student should have an average of at least 80% in the assessments.

Value of  Scholarship

  • The University will award the one Carrick Robertson Prize 2020 annually and will be of the value of NZD 500.

The University of Auckland Council will give the award on the recommendation of the Head of the Department of Surgery. Additionally, candidates cannot share the prize. The University of Auckland Council will not be bound to award the Carrick Robertson Prize 2020 if there is no candidate of sufficient merit.

How to apply

You do not need to apply for this scholarship, award or prize or complete an online application form. On the recommendation of the relevant faculty or University of Auckland committee, the applicants will receive the prize.
