City, University of London offers an International Excellence Scholarship to students who demonstrate outstanding academic performance. The Scholarships are available to postgraduate students who seek a Master’s degree in Health Science. Moreover, the City stands first in London for Nursing and Medical Technology. What does City University of London Contribute as Scholarship?

The City University of London contributes an aid of £1,000-£5,000 in its International Excellence Scholarship scheme. The scholarship is available for the Master’s degree program only. However, MSc Speech and Language Therapy and MSc Adult and Mental Health Nursing are ineligible to apply for the scholarship.

Are you Eligible for City University of London Scholarship?

The City University of London will consider applicants eligible  for its International Excellence Scholarship if the students fulfill the following criteria:

• Applicants must demonstrate academic and clinical and/or professional excellence.
• Further, the applicants must have an offer of a full-time place and be studying for the full MSc on one of SHS’s postgraduate programmes
• However, students applying for the PG Cert or PG Diploma will unfortunately not be eligible to receive this scholarship.
• Also, students cannot be in receipt of more than one scholarship/bursary.

How do you apply for International Excellence Scholarship?

The university will require applicants to complete and submit a scholarship form to apply for this scholarship. Moreover, applicants will also require to submit a statement of no more than 500 words. This statement will be in addition to the personal statement used for the programme application. Further, it should focus on why you believe you should be awarded this scholarship. You could include references to projects or initiatives that you have undertaken in which you have exceeded or work that you have done that have improved practice or how this scholarship could help you advance practice in your chosen area A selection panel will shortlist candidates on merit and the top candidates will be awarded the scholarships.

Deadline

Applicants may apply for the International Excellence Scholarships at the City University of London until August 2019 for the session beginning in September 2019. The University will not entertain applications arriving after the deadline. However, the students may file for scholarships until December 2019 if they wish to begin their studies in January 2020.
