Apply for the Edmund Rice Emerging Leaders Scholarship 2020 in Australia. The deadline for the application is 14th August 2020. The scholarship is for a Bachelors degree in the field of Humanities at Curtin University.

Eligibility 

• Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be eligible to apply for the Edmund Rice Emerging Leaders Scholarship:
• Also, enrolled full-time (100 credits) in an undergraduate degree at Curtin University in semester 2, 2020
• Additionally, from a refugee background
• Also, demonstrated leadership potential
• Interest in pursuing a career in politics
• Also, an active member of a political group or similar advocacy group through the Curtin Student Guild
• Likewise, the willingness to participate in one or more of the following:
  • Photograph
  • The event hosted by the University Advancement
  • A handwritten thank-you note to the donor

Value of Scholarship

• The total value of up to AUD 15,000 paid as a cash stipend of AUD 2,500 per semester. The amount can be used at the recipient’s discretion to contribute towards educational related expenses such as textbooks and/or general living expenses.
• Additionally, the opportunity to participate in the Edmund Rice Centre WA Developing Community Leaders Initiative.
