Fujian Normal University President Scholarships recognizes and rewards international students who demonstrate excellence in their academic qualification and seeking to pursue tertiary study in China. The Scholarship is launched in order to attract more outstanding students to study in our school, create a favorable and international cultural environment for the campus. Further, the scholarships also constantly improve the university’s international reputation, as well as encourage foreign students to work hard and get well-rounded.

Scholarship Coverage

Under the Fujian Normal University President Scholarships scheme, the beneficiary will receive a Scholarship applicable to the tuition fee. The successful candidate of the scholarship will receive a full tuition fee waiver as well as free dormitory service in China for a year.

Further, the Fujian Normal University may extend the scholarship duration. To receive an extension, candidates must maintain their status of academic merit as per the criteria of the university.

 Eligibility

The requirements for applicants’ degree and age are that applicants must:

•   be a high school graduate and no more than 30 when applying for the undergraduate programs;
•   have a bachelor’s degree holder and no more than 40 when applying for the master’s programs;
•   be a master’s degree holder and no more than 45 when applying for the doctoral programs.
• Additionally, Applicants should be friendly and healthy with foreign nationality and passports;
• Likewise, Applicants should observe disciplines and obey laws.
• Applicants who apply for programs taught in Chinese should provide HSK Certificates or other Chinese language proficiency certificates. Applicants who apply for programs taught in English should provide IELTS, TOEFL or GRE Certificates or other English language proficiency certificates.
• However, applicants should not have received any other scholarships.

How To Apply

 To apply for the scholarship, applicants will require to submit the following documents to the university:

• Photocopy of the passport photo page.
• Foreigner Physical Examination Form completed in English
• The physical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid.
• Notarized highest education diplomas attained proof of study and transcripts (need to be translated into Chinese or English, and confirmation of your former school or local department).
• Studying plans and goals.
• Applicants under the age of 18 shall submit relevant documents of entrusted legal guardians in China.

Deadline

Fujian Normal University accepts an application for president Scholarships in China until June 10, 2019. Further, the university considers the application ineligible for the scholarship if they arrive after the deadline.
