Queen’s Belfast University calls application for Vice-Chancellor’s International Attainment Scholarship for the academic year 2021 – 2022.  Vice-Chancellor’s International Attainment Scholarships at Queen’s Belfast University is the full fee scholarship for international students to undergraduate degree starting in September 2020.

Eligibilities 

This scholarship is open to all the international students who are identified as international fee-paying students paying the international tuition fee rate. Students paying NI/GB/EU fees are not eligible for the Vice Chancellor’s International Attainment Scholarship-Undergraduate.

In addition to that, students must hold an offer for a place on a full-time eligible undergraduate program starting in September 2020 at the Queen’s University Belfast campus which has been confirmed as their FIRM choice by their UCAS deadline, and prior to commencement of study have met any academic and language conditions attached to their offer as stated in their offer letter. However, students undertaking study in the field of Medicine, Dentistry, Agricultural Technology, Theology or all Distance Learning programs, foundation degree programs and non-standard fee courses, including part-time programs are not eligible for this scholarship.

Funding 

The scholarship will cover the full cost of tuition fees and is awarded each year for up to a maximum of four years. Students must be self-funding students without any external assistance or grants to pay the tuition cost.

Terms and Conditions

  • If the student defers entry to the University then the scholarship will not be transferred.
  • The event that a student has received scholarship offers for a number of different programs at Queen’s University, they will only be able to redeem one scholarship award. This will be the scholarship award for the course on which they enroll in the 2020-21 academic year.
  • Students must request authorization from the International Office before making any changes to their program of study. Where changes are made without authorization being granted, the scholarship may be withdrawn and students may be required to repay the scholarship in full.
  • Applicants may apply and/or be considered for more than one award administered by Queen’s University Belfast but if successful would receive the Higher of the awards with the lower value award canceled or allocated to another applicant.
  • The University is unable to consider requests for increased and/or further funding. The amount of scholarship offered is non-negotiable.
  • The University’s decision regarding successful scholars of the program is final, and no further correspondence shall be entered into.
  • Similarly, the University reserves the right to vary all or any scholarship awards, discounts and regulations at its sole discretion.
  • Upon receipt of a scholarship offer, applicants will be asked to review and sign a scholarship contract. Failure to return this documentation by the deadline set may result in the University offering the scholarship to someone else.
