Every year, the Pershing Square Foundation awards up to 6 full scholarships to support outstanding students on the 1+1 MBA, covering both the Master’s degree and the MBA year. Pershing Square Scholars are exceptional individuals who can demonstrate potential and commitment. They work for finding scalable and sustainable solutions to world-scale social challenges.

Level/Field(s) of study: Oxford’s 1+1 MBA Programme: Oxford University’s one-year full-time MBA program combined with one of the one-year Master’s programs offered by other University departments

Financial Benefits from Pershing Square Graduate Scholarships

• As a Pershing Square scholar, you will receive funding for both your Master’s degree and MBA program course fees.

Eligibility Required for Pershing Square Graduate Scholarships

1. Applicants to the Oxford 1+1 MBA Programme.
2. Applicants who apply to any full-time one-year Master’s course that is not currently part of the official list of partner 1+1 MBA Programme, and to the MBA (as a separate application).
3. Current Oxford students on a non-MBA course, who are applying to the MBA with no gap years. You must meet the entry requirements for both the Oxford MBA and your chosen Master’s program.

Application Instructions

Candidates must submit a complete application for both courses and upload the scholarship essay in the Funding section. You must answer the following question with no more than 500 words: ‘How do you intend to change the world? What does this tell us about you as a person?’

Each of the partnering Master’s programs has its own application form, deadlines, and requirements. To be considered for the Pershing Square Scholarship, you must apply by 12 January 2022 for the 1+1 MBA and by your chosen Master’s program deadline either in December 2021 or January 2022.
