Awaji Youth Federation (AYF), established in 2017, is one of the newest and most promising projects of Pasona Group Inc. in the beautiful surroundings of Awaji Island. It offers a Fully Funded Awaji Youth Federation fellowship to seek out the next generation leaders with the passion to challenge themselves in this unique global community. The fellowship is a creative platform where young innovators and designers come together across cultures, backgrounds, and disciplines to use their skills and find solutions to global issues.

The fellowship provides in-house training where they can enhance their skills and capabilities. The on-the-job work experience the fellows take includes active involvement in new business projects and facilities operated by Pasona Group. Upon completion of the program, Fellows may be eligible for assistance from the Pasona Group with new start-up ventures or be presented with future employment opportunities either in Japan or abroad.

Fully Funded Awaji Youth Federation Fellowship

This unique program has two aspects of employment to maximize Fellows’ experiences throughout the year. It includes working as a contract employee of Pasona Group as well as projects on creative and entrepreneurial development on Awaji Island.

Pasona Group associated companies will also provide assistance and offer opportunities to let Fellows demonstrate their ability and potential. The work assigned to Fellows is subject to the proposals of the Fellow themselves, as well as the routine work requested by the corporate entity, and it will also be assigned based upon compliance, rules, and regulations.

Further, the Fully Funded Awaji Youth Federation Fellowship offers candidate a gross stipend of  JPY 250,000. A portion of the stipend goes out to cover the accommodation, meals, and program expenses. Also, a portion covers the government fees and taxes. Hence, the net stipend the candidates receive per month is JPY 70,000

Eligibility for the Awaji Youth Federation Fellowship

Awaji Youth Federation considers a candidate eligible for the fully funded 2020 fellowship program if they are:

• Graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
• English ability of TOEIC 800 or equivalent for non-native speakers. (Fluent both in speaking and writing)
• Moreover, Japanese language skill preferable
• Commitment to solving society’s problems and contributing to Pasona Group’s projects.
• Open to staying on Awaji Island after the year at AYF and continuing to work on regional revitalization
• Core values of hard work, discipline, and care for others
• Flexible, perseverance and resilience
• Also, the ability and drive to translate ideas into concrete action

How to apply for the Awaji Youth Federation Fellowship?

In order to apply for 2020 Fully Funded Awaji Youth Federation Fellowship, applicants must download the application form and fill it. Candidates must complete the application form in full to consider it valid for the fellowship program.

Candidates must send the application via email following with a second email consisting updated CV as well as other necessary documents.

The selection committee will review the application and shortlist the candidates for the fellowship. The shortlisted candidates will go through Skype Interview which will determine the final applicants for the fellowship.

Deadline

Awaji Youth Federation accepts the Fellowship application until 15 November 2019. Applications arriving after the deadline are ineligible for the fellowship.
