Details

Fully Funded William and Ina Cartwright scholarship is available at the University of Canterbury. The scholarship is tenable for study towards a research doctoral degree at the university. Moreover, the university provides this international scholarship on the basis of merit. Hence, top-ranked candidate(s) in the discipline of Education may receive the University of Canterbury Doctoral Scholarship. A successful candidate will have either already accepted or will have qualified to be offered, a University of Canterbury Doctoral Scholarship.

Fully Funded Cartwright Scholarship

The doctoral candidate successful to receive a William and Ina Cartwright Scholarship will receive fully funded tuition fee. Further, the candidates will also receive a stipend of $26,000 per EFTS for three EFTS period.

Eligibility for Fully Funded Cartwright Scholarship at University of Canterbury

The University of Canterbury considers an applicant eligible for the fully funded William an Ina Cartwright Scholarship if they are:

  • A domestic or international student can apply for the Cartwright Scholarship
  • Further, have a qualification regarded by the University of Canterbury to be equivalent, or at a higher level to a Masters Degree with First Class Honours;
  • Likewise, be eligible to be enrolled, full-time on-campus in a PhD;
  • However, not be in receipt of similar funding from the University of Canterbury.
  • Also, meet the university’s English Language Requirements.

Candidates must be eligible before applying for the Doctoral scholarship at the University of Canterbury. Moreover, the candidates should also apply for the Doctoral program at the University of Canterbury. Only then, the candidates can apply for the Cartwright Scholarship at the University of Canterbury by completing and submitting the online application form. Along with the application form, the candidates must also submit the necessary documentation, including a CV, letter of interest, necessary academic transcripts and letter of recommendations.

Deadline

The University of Canterbury will accept the fully funded Cartwright application for Doctoral Studies until 15 October 2019. Applications arriving after the deadline are invalid.
