The students successful to receive the GDUFS fully funded scholarships are eligible for a full tuition fee waiver for the first academic year. Further, another scholarship under the same scheme will cover 50% of the tuition fee for the first year.

Who is eligible to apply for Fully Funded GDUFS scholarships?

International students can apply for the Fully funded GDUFS scholarships if they meet the following sets of criteria:

• Abide by Chinese law, regulations as well as University and school rules.
• Be excellent in both learning and character; a well-behaved person in the original school.
• Satisfy all requirements for academic credits for the previous academic year and have an average passing score of at least 90,
• Average attendance rate is not less than 90%.
• HSK score and TOFEL scores meet the admission requirements of specific majors.
• Other traits that show excellent performance.
• Must have not obtained for any other scholarships offered by the Chinese government.

How To Apply Full ride GDUFS international scholarships in China?

To apply for the full ride scholarships at GDUFS, an international student should be willing to pursue a full-time study in China. Further, they must apply for a position at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in either an undergraduate or postgraduate program. Next, the students must fill up the scholarship form.

Here is the guideline on how a student should apply for fully funded GDUFS scholarships:

1. Applicants should submit Scholarship Application Form and transcript for the previous year to the IIE office.
2. Moreover, the students should apply before the deadline. However, if the students fail to apply for it before the deadline will be ineligible for the scholarship.
3. While filling the scholarship form, a teacher should write the evaluation in the “Reasons to recommend” part of the form.
4. GDUFS will make the evaluations and announces the final result before the end of August.

Deadline

Guangdong University of Foreign Studies accepts the fully funded scholarships application from international students from July 1 to July 30, 2019. Undergraduate or postgraduate students who wish to apply for the scholarship must be eligible prior to application.
