The University of Southern Denmark is eagerly awaiting applications from outstanding students to apply for PhD International Fellowships for the academic session 2020/2021. The program is open to overseas students.

University of Southern Denmark

Founded in 1966, University of Southern Denmark is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the large town of Odense (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Region of Southern Denmark. This 53 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students’ past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria for Fully Funded International Fellowships

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: PhD degree program on video-based methods for studying social practices at the Department of Design and Communication.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must have to meet the following eligibility criteria:
  • Additionally, the applicants must hold an MA degree in design, interaction studies, ethnography, linguistics, or a related relevant social science.
  • Likewise, have state of the art knowledge of video technology.
  • Also, have a strong interest in becoming an expert in the study of social practices.
  • Additionally, enjoy working as part of a team.

Benefits

Eligible applicants will be employed in accordance with the Protocol on PhD Research Fellow .

  • Applicants must provide the following documents with the application
  • Must provide Detailed CV, including personal contact information, A research proposal/description of your approach to the project (max five pages excluding references)
  • Likewise, copies of diplomas, Bachelor as well as Master’s degree, including a transcript of notes/grades
  • Also, a maximum of 2 of the most relevant publications or writing samples including MA thesis. Please note that publications are not a requirement for this position

Language Requirement: Must have good proficiency in academic English and – if the applicant does not speak Danish – be willing to learn Danish.
