Details

Applications have opened for the Fully Funded Peace Fellowships 2020. Interested candidates can apply for the program until 31st May 2020. The Fellowship is for the Master’s students in the field of Peace Studies, conflict resolution.

  • Rotary Peace Fellowships is open for International Students.
  • Additionally, the scholarship allows Masters, Short Training level program(s) in the field of Peace Studies, conflict resolution taught at Duke University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, International Christian University Japan, University of Bradford, University of Queensland, Uppsala University, Chulalongkorn University, Makerere University.
  • The deadline for the scholarship is 31 May 2020.

Available Subjects:

  • Master’s degree programs: Accepted candidates study peace and development issues with research-informed teaching and a diverse student body.
  • Also, the programs last 15 to 24 months and include a two- to three-month field study, which participants design themselves.

Scholarship Benefits

  • The fellowships cover tuition and fees, room and board, round-trip transportation.
  • Also, all internship and field-study expenses.

Eligibility

The candidates must meet the given criteria for the Fully Funded Rotary Peace Fellowships 2020

  • Anyone endorsed by their local Rotary District can apply.
  • Proficiency in English; proficiency in a second language is strongly recommended
  • Similarly, a strong commitment to international understanding and peace as demonstrated through professional and academic achievements and personal or community service
  • Also, excellent leadership skills
  • Furthermore, Master’s degree applicants: minimum of three years of related full-time work or volunteer experience, bachelor’s degree
  • Certificate applicants: minimum of five years of related full-time work or volunteer experience, strong academic background.
