Swansea University’s School of Management is offering a small number of Graduate Teaching Assistantship (GTA) Scholarships to successful and eligible Home/EU applicants. Moreover, the GTA Scholarship is a fully-funded Ph.D. Scholarship worth a total of £19,692 per year and comprises a tax-free stipend of £15,285 and £4,407 Ph.D. program fees. Additionally, recipients of a GTA Scholarship are should undertake teaching duties up to a maximum of six hours per week. Duties can include preparing for and delivering seminars and marking and provide excellent experience opportunities for prospective academics.

The successful applicants must actively engage with and participate in University and College-based postgraduate activity, including postgraduate training, poster competitions, seminars and postgraduate conferences. Likewise, the School of Management offers a supportive and friendly environment in which to study that combines academic rigour with business relevance. Also, prospective applicants should explore the research expertise of the School to ensure a good fit between PhD proposals and potential supervisors.

Eligibility

For the Fully Funded Scholarships at Swansea University in the UK, the candidate should meet the given criteria

• They should hold a first-class or upper second class (2.1) honours Undergraduate degree. Also, a Master’s degree with at least a merit appropriate to the School of Management.
• Furthermore, non-native English speakers will require a recent IELTS test with an overall score of at least 6.5 (with no individual component below 6.5).
