Fully Funded PhD scholarships are available for students seeking to pursue higher studies in Communication Engineering. Phd Scholarships are available to EU/UK as well as domestic students at the University of Kent. The University of Kent is well known internationally for its work on low power based sensing devices and wireless communications. The successful applicant help to realize mmWave transducers and create multiplexed channels to send bio-signals from skin-mounted sensors. One realization may involve the transducers communicating across the skin to a hub, which multiplexes and transmits the signals off-body.
Furthermore, the PhD candidate who is able to receive the scholarships will work within the Communications Research Group at the University of Kent. Further, the research group conducts research into a variety of wireless technologies in well-equipped labs situated within the School of Engineering and Digital Arts.
The University of Kent compensates the PhD candidates while covering the financial needs of the candidates for tuition purposes. Wireless Communication PhD Scholarships program include the successful candidates receiving an amount at the current home fee rate of £4,327.00.
