Project description
The research focuses on the preparation and characterization nanostructured multi-metallic electro-catalysts for different electro-catalytic reactions.
Job description
The position is available for a 3-year period and your key tasks as a PhD student at SCIENCE are:
- To manage and carry through your research project
- Also, attend PhD courses
- Furthermore, write scientific articles and your PhD thesis
- Teach and disseminate your research
- To stay at an external research institution for a few months, preferably abroad
- Also, work for the department
Eligibility for Fully Funded Scholarships Denmark
- Obtained a MSc degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Nanoscience, Materials Science or related areas
- Additionally, background in fundamental aspects of electrochemistry, electrodeposition and electro-catalysis
- Also, experience in electrochemical methods
- Excellent communication skills, and excellent spoken and written English
- Furthermore, be well-motivated, willing and able to work as part of an international team at the University of Copenhagen and to supervise MSc and BSc students
- As criteria for the assessment, emphasis will be also laid on previous publications in the field of electrochemistry or electro-catalysis.
Benefits
The starting salary is currently at a minimum DKK 331,125 (approx. €43,750) including annual supplement (+ pension at a minimum DKK 53,811). Negotiation for salary supplement is possible.
