Students pursuing any taught MSc program in the faculty of the School of Life Sciences are eligible for the scholarship. The University of Warwick will award up to five SLS Excellence Scholarships. The successful candidates will receive a 50% reduction of course fees.

Eligibility for Life Sciences Scholarships at the University of Warwick

• Before applying, applicants should have an offer to study on a School of Life Sciences full-time taught MSc course starting October 2019.
• Applicants should have an excellent academic track-record, typically the equivalent of a British 1^st Class Honours Degree. The Scholarship Review Panel will assess both academic achievement and the supporting statement when awarding.
• For conditional offer-holders, scholarship awards will also be conditional on achieving any language requirements and the awardee’s final predicted grade.
• However, SLS Excellence Scholarships are for self-funded students only. Students with other partial funding may be eligible. Recipients should inform Dr. Charlotte Moonan if they are receiving another scholarship or are later awarded other funding.
• Applications for SLS Excellence Scholarships are welcome from home, EU as well as international students.
• Also, SLS Excellence Scholarships are payable towards tuition fees only.
• All Life Sciences full-time taught MSc Programmes are eligible for the SLS Excellence Scholarships to maximize nationality and gender diversity.
• Further, Scholarship recipients may have to carry out some ambassadorial duties for the School.
