Applications are now open for Funded Scholler Fellowships 2020 in Germany. Dr. Theo and Friedl Schöller Research Center at the Friedrich-Alexander University (FAU) Erlangen-Nuremberg in Germany invites seeks candidates suitable for Scholler Fellowships 2020.

In 2020, Dr. Theo and Friedl Schöller Research Center for Business and Society will appoint the eleventh Schöller Fellow cohort. Application for Schöller Fellowships is now open in the following two categories: Scholler Senior Fellows and Scholler Fellows.  Scholler Senior Fellowships will be for internationally renowned scholars. and Scholler Fellows seeks promising early-career scholars (including assistant professors, post-docs and outstanding Ph.D. students) around the globe.

Benefits of Scholler Fellowships 2020 in Germany

Dr. Theo and Friedl Scholler Research Center for Business and Society grants funds of up to 50,000 € per Schöller Senior Fellow and up to 20,000 € per Schöller Fellow for the realization of their proposed research project. Fellows will contribute with their experience and competence to the research activities of the School of Business, Economics, and Society in Nuremberg.

Selection Criteria

The Research Center’s Advisory Board will be responsible for the selection of Fellows and the School of Business, Economics, and Society will appoint him/her. The ideal fellow must have

  • Scientific excellence as demonstrated by top-tier publications,
  • Willingness to engage in on-site cooperation and dialogue in Nuremberg, and
  • Theoretical rigor and practical relevance of the outlined research project.

Fellow Rights & Obligations

Dr. Theo and Friedl Schöller Research Center provides funds of up to 50.000 € per Schöller Senior Fellow and up to 20.000 € per Schöller Fellow for the realization of the proposed research project. Scholler Fellows should contribute to the research activities of the School of Business, Economics, and Society by sharing their experiences and competencies. In addition, the Fellows have to

  • Participate in the annual Award Ceremony of the Schöller Research Center,
  • Acknowledge the support provided by the Research Center in all publications related to their Fellowship, and
  • Report on the progress and results of their research project on a regular basis.
