The Susan Richmond Scholarship is offered to female applicants. Further, returning to higher education after at least three years away from study, applying to study a Masters in the Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU). The University of Sussex is a leading research-intensive university near Brighton. We have both an international and local outlook, with staff and students from more than 100 countries and frequent engagement in community activities and services.
Moreover, The University of Sussex is a public research university in Falmer, Sussex, England. Its campus is located in the South Downs National Park and is a short distance away from Central Brighton. Further, It has more than a third of its students enrolled in postgraduate programs. Also,  around a third of its staff is drawn from outside the United Kingdom.

Additionally, Sussex has a diverse community of over 17,000 students, with around one in three being foreign students, and over 2,600 academics, representing over 100 different nationalities. In 2017, over 25 thousand students applied to the University of Sussex, with around five thousand joining the institution. Furthermore, The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2018 placed Sussex 147th in the world overall, 39th in the world for Social Sciences and 49th globally for Business and Law studies.

You must have accepted an offer of a full-time place on the Masters.
