Google EMEA Legal Summer Institute 2025: Internship Opportunity for Law Students

The EMEA Legal Summer Institute (LSI) offers law school students a one-of-a-kind opportunity to gain hands-on legal experience and explore careers in the tech industry. Through this program, students will intern with one of Google’s partner law firms across the EMEA region, gaining valuable insight into private legal practice. As part of the internship, participants will also spend a week (either virtually or in-person, depending on location) engaging directly with Google. During this immersive week at Google—from 8 to 12 September 2025—students will attend expert-led presentations, participate in career development workshops, expand their professional network, and learn what it’s like to work as an in-house lawyer at a global tech company.

Additionally, LSI participants will have the opportunity to join a six-month mentorship program, where they’ll be guided by experienced Google lawyers. This initiative is designed to open doors for aspiring legal professionals by fostering greater access to in-house legal careers within the tech sector. The specific dates for the law firm internships will vary by location.
