Apply for the Leadership Essay Competition, 2020. The deadline for the scholarship is 10th July 2020.

African citizens between the age of 18-25 are encouraged to contribute to important discussions on leadership by submitting an essay for this year’s Leadership Essay Contest organized by the Institute of African Leadership for Sustainable Development (UONGOZI Institute). Additionally, the essay should respond to the following question:

“If you were an African leader, how would you promote African intra-trade to unlock agricultural potential in the Continent?”

Essay conditions

• should not be more than 2 A4 pages
• Also, single-spaced, Arial font size 11
• Similarly, sent as an MS Word document
• Likewise, the organizers will judge the essays based on originality, creativity, use of language, and appropriateness to the contest theme.

Eligibility

• Applicants of Leadership Essay Competition, 2020 must be African citizens.
• Candidates applying should be between 18-25 years of age
• Applicants of Leadership Essay Competition, 2020 should have a valid ID and travel documents in case one gets selected

• The applicants should submit the essays by e-mail at [email protected]
• Candidates applying for Leadership Essay Competition, 2020  must also submit a written statement of originality and ownership of intellectual property rights.

Value

The successful applicants of the competition will receive up to USD 2000.
