The Faculty of Business and Law invites scholarships application from international students for MBA Global Alumni Scholarships at the University of Newcastle. The University of Newcastle is a public university in Callaghan, Australia. With a good standing in the QS world university ranking, UON has become a reputed place for international students. Further, a large number of international students seeks admission at the university.

Hence, to ease the financial burden, the University of Newcastle provides a large number of scholarships to international students. The scholarships are available to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Further, the scholarships are available to all university students who meet the eligibility requirements

What is the value of MBA Global Scholarships?

The Global MBA Scholarships are payable towards the tuition fee of UON MBA degree. Moreover, the successful candidate will receive an equivalent of 25% of tuition costs (AU$13,500). This will cover the cost of 4 subjects within the MBA Global program. Further, it is applicable to the final 4 courses of study.

Furthermore, the University of Newcastle awards this scholarship to all the candidates who meet the UON admission eligibility. Hence, the number of recipients of this scholarship is not quantifiable by the numbers.

Who is eligible to apply for MBA Global Scholarships?

The Global MBA Scholarships are available to both domestic as well as international students. Moreover, to be eligible, a candidate must obtain admission in Masters degrees program in MBA at UON. Further, the students must also abide by the UON enrolment guidelines.

Moreover, the eligible students for the scholarships are the one who meets the following criteria:

• Commencing in the MBA Global program with UON in semester 1 or semester 2, 2019.
• Domestic student or International full-fee paying student.
• A current UON student completing your undergraduate studies, or have graduated from a UON undergraduate program within the last three years.
• Have a full-time UON enrolment at the MBA program
• Studying on-campus with the University of Newcastle in Australia.
• Not hold another scholarship funded by the Faculty of Business and Law for the same program, or equivalent or more substantial benefit.

How to apply for scholarships at the University of Newcastle?

Students may apply for the scholarships only if they meet the receive a place of the offer at the University of Newcastle, Australia. Once the eligibility is confirmed, the students may apply for the MBA Global Scholarships via the online portal. While making the application, students must register as a current/prospective student, and fill up the form as required.

The scholarship committee will verify UON scholarships application letters and determine if the candidates are eligible for the scholarships. The successful students will receive the award upon offer of study and subsequent enrolment in the MBA Global program at the University of Newcastle.

The deadline for the UON application letters for scholarships for semester 2 is on 30 June 2019.
