The Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment invites scholarships application from international undergraduates at the University of Newcastle. The University of Newcastle is a public university in Callaghan, Australia. With a good standing in the QS world university ranking, UON has become a reputed place for international students. Further, a large number of international students seeks admission at the university.
Hence, to ease the financial burden, the University of Newcastle provides a large number of scholarships to international students. The scholarships are available to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Further, the scholarships are available to all university students who meet the eligibility requirements
The Newcastle FEBE Engineering Scholarships are payable towards the tuition fee of UON FEBE undergraduate degree. Moreover, the successful candidate will receive an amount of AU$20,000. Annually the students will receive $5,000 which covers a part of the tuition fee. However, the students must meet the ongoing eligibility requirement to continue the scholarship.
Furthermore, the University of Newcastle awards this scholarship to all the candidates who meet the UON admission eligibility. Hence, the number of recipients of this scholarship is not quantifiable by the numbers.
The Newcastle Engineering Scholarships are available to both domestic as well as international students. Moreover, to be eligible, a candidate must obtain admission in Bachelors degrees program in the faculty of Engineering and Built Environment at UON. Further, the students must also abide by the UON enrolment guidelines.
Moreover, the eligible students for the scholarships are the one who meets the following criteria:
Scholarships will be awarded automatically to students upon application to study an eligible Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment undergraduate degree program at the University of Newcastle.
However, students receiving this scholarship will not be eligible for any other Faculty fee waiver scholarships.
