NMU International Academic Scholarship in USA

The NMU International Academic Award is automatically available to academically talented, undergraduate international students who are enrolled at Northern Michigan University as a full-time associate or baccalaureate degree student. Award recipients are expected to engage in cultural sharing or community service activities.

Northern Michigan University is offering International Academic Awards to pursue undergraduate programme. These scholarships are available to new NMU students who enroll Fall 2017 or later.Northern Michigan has a population of about 9,000 undergraduate and graduate students.  It offers 147-degree programs, including 25 graduate programs.  Scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate programme in course offered by the university.ay receive scholarships for up to 8 semesters (new international freshman) or 6 semesters for transfer students, or until completion of first bachelor’s degree, whichever comes first.

Eligibility

  • Must maintain a cumulative 3.0 NMU G.P.A. and full-time enrollment.
  • Must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy requirements.
  • FAO Monitors annually at the conclusion of the winter semeste

The students will be awarded $2,200/yr

Requirements

Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have the previous degree.

Test Requirement: Only students from the U.S. and Canada are required to submit a SAT or ACT score.  Students from all other countries are not required to submit ACT or SAT scores.

English Language Requirement: Applicants whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.
