Applications are open for the Onuoha Fellowship 2025. They are $10,000 in scholarships to 10 of the most ambitious, incoming freshmen & sophomores who are passionate about entrepreneurship. The Onuoha Fellowship was founded five years ago because entrepreneurship felt impossible to navigate alone. The essence of creating something new means there’s no defined playbook to follow, and traditional higher education rarely teaches you how to go from zero to one.

Since 2020, the program’s approach to learning and innovation has undergone a complete transformation. Moving away from traditional classroom-style instruction, the fellowship now emphasizes hands-on, immersive experiences where participants gain fluency in cutting-edge AI tools such as Cursor, Replit, and Lovable. Instead of passively consuming information, fellows are encouraged to actively build real-world products, test their ideas in dynamic environments, and iterate based on feedback from users and peers. This practical, product-driven model not only accelerates learning but also fosters entrepreneurial thinking and collaboration. A testament to its success, two fellows from the most recent cohort—both from MIT—joined forces to launch their own startup, highlighting the program’s ability to spark meaningful ventures and real-world impact.
