Under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI), The Postdoctoral Fellow performs complex research experiments with a concentration on mechanisms that underlie the maintenance and treatment of chronic pain.

Key Duties

• Participates in experimental design; carries out experiments specific to mechanisms that underlie maintenance and treatment of chronic pain.
• Skilled in electrophysiology.
• Experienced with patch-clamp techniques.
• Operates/maintains equipment.
• Records/analyze data
• Maintains data notebook per department/PI standards.
• Contributes to the writing of manuscripts.
• Submits a proposal for post-doctoral fellowship funding.
